Description: Despite her mixed heritage, she definitely looks more like her elven mother's side of the family than anything else - aside from the very slight point to her ears, it'd be easy to assume she's completely human, lacking the delicate refinement of most elven offspring.

Her stature is unimpressive, though her human blood has augmented the naturally waif like qualities she inherited from her mother with a fuller, more bountiful curvature that often garners the type of attention and preconceptions that she finds difficult to deal with.

She bears a comely regal visage, though it is commonly carrying a look of slight uncertainty. A straight pale crown of brushed moon-kissed hair spills seamlessly down her head, ending just past her shoulders. Her complexion is smooth and milky, much like a fully blooded moon elf.

• CHARACTER HISTORY •

The result of an affair of a well known Lantanese council-member, Catriona was never one to have a proper place in a society where structure was just about everywhere. One of the few half-elves in Lantan, she was often marginalized save for her prodigious talents in the academic. While she had a wealth of troubles socially, the science-minded intellectuals of Lantan at least respected her mental acumen.

She attended the Wyndamere Academy much younger than most of her classmates, further segregating her from proper peer groups. Still, the child prodigy climbed to the title of Doctor, working on high level experiments for the Academy.

Doctor Wicker’s fate changed when her “New Fuel X” experiments with the captured elementals in her lab resulted in a catastrophic implosion. She survived this, being at its epicenter, but her lab assistant seemed to have vanished without a trace. Furthermore, it was deduced that all the elemental energy had fused with her body.

At first, she was put in forced observation as she was emitted unstable energy and mood swings. A month into this confinement, she was released with a no confidence vote about her abilities to continue her former position.

In reality, the cause of the implosion in her lab was the early beginnings of what would eventually become known to be the Spellplague. This event caused unmitigated chaos and destruction in the Lantan Isles. Earthquakes and tsunamis decimated coastal towns and several evacuations took place via portal and ship.

Some even saw the Island Kingdom torn from this very dimension as they tried to sail away.

Catriona, was one of the lucky ones that was able to slip into a crowd of scientists and nobles, using a portal in the basement of the academy before it all vanished.

Months later, she has settled her life enough to pursue the goal of finding one of her half-cousins on the Sword Coast. In time, perhaps she could build up her own institution that could work towards studying the Spellplague, what happened to Lantan and her own alien powers.
